Battle Axe Roofing was founded in 2023. Owner Paul Blake brought more than 10 years of roofing and home-services experience to the company from day one.

Now, this is a story all about how my life got flipped, turned upside down, and I'd like to take a minute—so just sit right there—and I'll tell you how I became the roofer of a town called Bel Air. All kidding aside, my journey has always been guided by a simple belief that my word is my bond and that a handshake should be all we need. Mechanically inclined since I was a child, I spent my youth working with my hands as a finish carpenter, an automotive mechanic, and a passionate racer of cars and motorcycles. Just before turning 25, I transitioned into the sales world, quickly setting multiple records and leading large teams by focusing on what matters most: building genuine relationships and learning from the people I meet. Beyond my career, my proudest role is at home, where I have been with my wife for 23 years and raised an amazing special-needs teenager whose incredible smile truly lights up the world... When he wants to show it lol.

For the better part of ten years, I have brought this deep commitment to honesty into the home services industry. After witnessing multiple large, highly-rated contractors cut corners and lack basic integrity, I even walked away from a lucrative top-producer position because their business practices clashed with my moral compass. I simply cannot stomach making a profit on someone else's hard-earned money without delivering the absolute best craftsmanship possible; to me, it will always be about people over profit and being a good steward of your resources.
